My name is Lara and I'm 14. I go to Luigi Pirandello's school in San Miguel, the place where I live. In school I learn Italian and English,but i prefer English because Italian is so similiar to spanish. I often get good marks but there are some subjects that I don't like such as Maths and Biology. I prefer History or Geography. I love drama, it's my favourite activity. I go to drama classes on Tuesday and sometimes we perform a show at the end of the year. Moreover, I like dancing and listening to music, preferably pop and rock. I don't usually play sports but I would like practising them in the trip. I'm really looking forward to making this trip because it's always good to know other cultures and I think that part of Europe is one of the places that you must visit before you die. The trip to Ireland and the Uk is going to be my first one without my family, so I am fascinated and scared at the same time! There are some things I really love in my life, which are eating, sleeping, surfing the internet, listening to music (mostly Indie Rock), and Arctic Monkeys... Other things i love are Fringe (TV series), Resident Evil games, and movies... Without them i don't know how I would survive. I'm not such an outgoing person, like most of the people are, i rather stay at home with my computer, although my friends pull me by the hair to go with them; going out every Friday is too mainstream for me... According to my zociac sign i should be really energetic, but this is funny, because i'm completely lazy... If I’m too comfortable and someone asks me to do something, the most probable thing i'd do is stare at him like saying 'go do it yourself if you want it so much', not that rude anyway.
For this awsome trip I expect learning more and more about the language I love, which I use almost every day (not at school), learn about the culture, and all that stuff.... Also, i'd love to make friends: D I'm really friendly; you just need to get to know me... My mother is a psychologist and she is called Carina. My father is a Book-keeper and he is called Gabriel. They are very good parents and I am very grateful for the family that I have.
I´m in the 4th year of the “Instituto Monseñor Dillon”. I´m studying there since I was 3 years old. I like it because I know everybody there and, of course, I have done a lot of good friends.
I love everything related to art like painting, designing clothes and dancing. For example, I go to a dance studio three hours a week to do choreography and learn jazz dance. In my free time I also go out with my friends and cook. We usually go to the park but only if the day is sunny. If not, we go to the cinema. I like cooking sweet things like cakes or cookies. But since I learnt how to do cupcakes I always spend all the day cooking them. I have to admit that they work out rich!
I am anxious for the trip but simultaneously scared because I never did one travel from this style. I´m sure that we all are going to make friends and that we will spend a very good time together!

What I love the most is music and fashion. I used to sing in an academy a year ago and that half an hour that I was there I was absolutely happy. Listening to music is like peace to me, I love to walk or write while I’m listening music also I love go to concerts! Luckily my uncle Daniel has no problem on join me to every concert that I want. Last year he came to see my favorite band, McFLY, with me and in November we went together to see Britney Spears! Music is in my family since I was a baby, my mum used to sing when she was younger and my uncle had a band inspired on The Beatles so music is in my blood as you can see. About fashion first of all I think that it’s really important to look properly but you have to be comfortable on what you wear! For me the most important thing when you don’t know what to wear is to be yourself and of course to have fun trying crazy things! My grandmother, Maria Esther thinks that, when I grow older, I have to work as something about fashion. I thought about it and is not a bad idea besides I choose my mum’s clothes to go to work!
What I expect about this amazing trip is to meet people from other countries, learn about them, how they live, what they like, etc. Also I love the fact that I’m going to speak in English for almost four weeks! Is like a dream came true to me. This isn’t the first time that I go on a trip without my parents, on 2010 I went to Disney World because of my 15th birthday, instead of a party I choose a trip to the place I dreamed all my life with, but I’m sure that being in a house with Irish people is going to be really cool! And I can’t wait to go and see all those beautiful places

Hi! My name is Sofía, I am 17 years old, almost 18. I live with my mum, dad and my dog. I am a student at Lenguas Vivas. I am the only one from my school who is travelling, so I’m a bit nervous because I don’t know anybody.
What I like the most is listening to music because there is always a song for every moment. I like any type such as rock, pop, reggaeton, cumbia, cuarteto, reggae, punk, etc. I’ve played the piano since I was four and the guitar since I was nine. I’ve taken part in concerts but not many because I am a bit shy. I like very much going to concerts.
In my free time I usually go out with friends, sleep or read a good book. I don’t like watching tv, but I watch series online such as Glee, Pretty Little Liars, Hellcats or Skins.
I really enjoy sports, either practicing them or attending matches. Actually I’m doing strong combat and yoga.
I also like drama. It’s really nice going to musicals.
I am really looking forward to travelling because I think it would be a great experience, and I will take advantage of this trip to improve my English and learning as much as I can about another culture.

I’m an only child, I live with my parents and my pets, I have two dogs and six cats (yeah I love cats), my favorite is my little kitten Katherine, I love her more than anyone. I don’t really have much to say, I go to Dante Alighieri school since this year and I like it.
For me, music is all. I love listening to music, one of my favorites singers is Lady Gaga, I don’t really like pop music but she gives all a different message, so well… I love her xD, I like watching movies and series too. I like going out but sometimes I prefer stay at home writing something or reading an interesting book.

years old. Ugh, 18… I hate to say that. I don’t really enjoy talking
about myself, I’m kind of introvert, never say more than enough
when you ask me something (except when I REALLY enjoy the
conversation, which doesn’t happen too often).
Something you’ve got know about myself is that I’m full of
contradictions: sometimes I do this, and sometimes I do that; or
sometimes I’m like this, and sometimes I’m like that. For example:
I’m generally kind, sweet, but don’t you dare mess with me, okay?
I’m telling you this so as you don’t get a headache trying to figure out
my whole personality.
What else? Oh! I LOVE Music! Do you see my musical watch and my
MP4 in the picture? That’s me! What I love when my parents and my
sister leave me alone at home is that I can listen to Music and sing
at full volume. Sadly, that doesn’t happen so often. I always sing:
at class, walking on the street, in the shopping, while I’m taking a
shower, etc. And I’d LOVE if someone joins me when I’m singing;
because I extremely like when people sing all together. That hasn’t
happened to me, yet. I listen to every genre of Music, except cumbia
and reggeatton (is it spell like that?). I play a little bit of guitar and
I’d like to play piano, drums, violin, etc.
Another thing that I like is animals. That’s why I’m going to study
zoology at U.B.A. I will also study photography as a career, but not
at the same time as zoology. I’m planning to study others things too,

Hi everybody! My name is Constanza but everyone calls me Coty. I´m 15 but I will soon celebrate my 16 in Ireland with all of you, the 23rd of January. I live in Temperley (in a typical english neighbourhood) and I go to Generation College. I´m a good student and the subjects that I like the most are Geography and History because I love to learn about the culture and traditions of the different nations around the world. Travelling all over the world and knowing new people is my greatest desire. In my free time, I listen to music (especially classic rock, argentine rock and pop), I paint and draw, and chat a lot with my friends on facebook. Generally, during the weekends, I go window shopping and in the evenings, I go dancing with my friends. My favourite activity is singing and I enjoy acting but not so much. I don´t play any particular sport but I´m good at athletics. Although I don´t have enough time to do so, I would love to go jogging at least two times per week. I don´t have any problems with food, I consider that trying new dishes is part of a good experience. Also, I love most kind of animals except for reptiles and some insects. As a matter of fact, I used to ride horses when I was young.
At present, I practice my fluency in english by having conversations with my brother Bautista about our daily life. The things that I´m expecting from this trip are: to learn more about the history and culture of the places we are going to visit, to have fun and make new friends, and to improve my english. I play the drums since 3 years and the guitar since 2. I’m very keen on music and also very open to new types of it but I specially hear Classic Rock and Blues. My favourite bands are AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Guns and Roses, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Metallica.
I also like sports and I’m a supporter of my favourite club: Velez Sarsfield and I regularly go to the stadium to see the team play.
I’m not too bad at school but I really dislike it except for my friends.

I was born in October, the 31 st, Halloween and I´m 16 years old =) so, I love sports and music; Sports are my life, I do lots of them but my favorites are athletics and artistic skating. About music… well, I am very open to the whole music but I prefer listen rock music and my idol is Paul David Hewson, from the well-known band U-2 (My favorite and my sickness…ha-ha it´s my predilect but I’m not sick with them, it was a joke..) . I'm head of the Secondary Department. I''m in charge of all the International Exams and work as an Oral Examiner for Cambridge University. I've taught English since I was 20 years old. My grandparents came from Ireland so I was brought up in an Irish environment. I love Ireland and visited it in 2006. I couldn't believe my eyes! It's really beautiful. My grandmother, Maria Esther thinks that, when I grow older, I have to work as something about fashion. I thought about it and is not a bad idea besides I choose my mum’s clothes to go to work!
What I expect about this amazing trip is to meet people from other countries, learn about them, how they live, what they like, etc. Also I love the fact that I’m going to speak in English for almost four weeks! Is like a dream came true to me. This isn’t the first time that I go on a trip without my parents, on 2010 I went to Disney World because of my 15th birthday, instead of a party I choose a trip to the place I dreamed all my life with, but I’m sure that being in a house with Irish people is going to be really cool! And I can’t wait to go and see all those beautiful places

Hi! My name is Sofía, I am 17 years old, almost 18. I live with my mum, dad and my dog. I am a student at Lenguas Vivas. I am the only one from my school who is travelling, so I’m a bit nervous because I don’t know anybody.
What I like the most is listening to music because there is always a song for every moment. I like any type such as rock, pop, reggaeton, cumbia, cuarteto, reggae, punk, etc. I’ve played the piano since I was four and the guitar since I was nine. I’ve taken part in concerts but not many because I am a bit shy. I like very much going to concerts.
In my free time I usually go out with friends, sleep or read a good book. I don’t like watching tv, but I watch series online such as Glee, Pretty Little Liars, Hellcats or Skins.
I really enjoy sports, either practicing them or attending matches. Actually I’m doing strong combat and yoga.
I also like drama. It’s really nice going to musicals.
I am really looking forward to travelling because I think it would be a great experience, and I will take advantage of this trip to improve my English and learning as much as I can about another culture.

I’m an only child, I live with my parents and my pets, I have two dogs and six cats (yeah I love cats), my favorite is my little kitten Katherine, I love her more than anyone. I don’t really have much to say, I go to Dante Alighieri school since this year and I like it.
For me, music is all. I love listening to music, one of my favorites singers is Lady Gaga, I don’t really like pop music but she gives all a different message, so well… I love her xD, I like watching movies and series too. I like going out but sometimes I prefer stay at home writing something or reading an interesting book.
I’m really looking forward to making this trip because for me, the other cultures are so interesting. I’m exited to know the beautiful and different places we are going to see. I’m a bit nervous too because I don’t know the people who are traveling. I’m traveling alone, I wish I could meet someone at the trip so I can talk and enjoy more than if i'm travelling alone.

I love sports, especially football and basketball but only NBA. I’m a Independiente fan. But what I love most is playing it. I make a lot of sports like kick boxing, rugby and tennis but I’m very bad at all. Other thing I love are the comics, my favourite superhero is Captain America or Spiderman(I haven’t decide it very well yet)
Like all people I love music; from all types, all genres and all times. The Beatles, Queen, Bob Dylan, The Strokes, Sinatra, Jack Johnson, Jamiroquai are of curse on my library. Chuck Berry is the best guitarist I’ve seen.
Honestly, my hobby is sleeping,eating and watching TV series, and if I can do them at the same time, better! Yes, I’m very lazy but I’m happy like that. When I grow up I would like to (apart from being tall) produce a radio programme and travel around the world.

Hey, guys! Well, I’m Belén, Belu or Bel (as you prefer) and I’m 18
years old. Ugh, 18… I hate to say that. I don’t really enjoy talking
about myself, I’m kind of introvert, never say more than enough
when you ask me something (except when I REALLY enjoy the
conversation, which doesn’t happen too often).
Something you’ve got know about myself is that I’m full of
contradictions: sometimes I do this, and sometimes I do that; or
sometimes I’m like this, and sometimes I’m like that. For example:
I’m generally kind, sweet, but don’t you dare mess with me, okay?
I’m telling you this so as you don’t get a headache trying to figure out
my whole personality.
What else? Oh! I LOVE Music! Do you see my musical watch and my
MP4 in the picture? That’s me! What I love when my parents and my
sister leave me alone at home is that I can listen to Music and sing
at full volume. Sadly, that doesn’t happen so often. I always sing:
at class, walking on the street, in the shopping, while I’m taking a
shower, etc. And I’d LOVE if someone joins me when I’m singing;
because I extremely like when people sing all together. That hasn’t
happened to me, yet. I listen to every genre of Music, except cumbia
and reggeatton (is it spell like that?). I play a little bit of guitar and
I’d like to play piano, drums, violin, etc.
Another thing that I like is animals. That’s why I’m going to study
zoology at U.B.A. I will also study photography as a career, but not
at the same time as zoology. I’m planning to study others things too,
such as gastronomy, Music, drawing, painting, portuguese and italian.
However, those studies will be courses, not careers; just because I’d
like to learn them. It sounds like a bit much, doesn’t it?
Well, for someone who doesn’t like to talk about herself, I wrote a lot

Hi everybody! My name is Constanza but everyone calls me Coty. I´m 15 but I will soon celebrate my 16 in Ireland with all of you, the 23rd of January. I live in Temperley (in a typical english neighbourhood) and I go to Generation College. I´m a good student and the subjects that I like the most are Geography and History because I love to learn about the culture and traditions of the different nations around the world. Travelling all over the world and knowing new people is my greatest desire. In my free time, I listen to music (especially classic rock, argentine rock and pop), I paint and draw, and chat a lot with my friends on facebook. Generally, during the weekends, I go window shopping and in the evenings, I go dancing with my friends. My favourite activity is singing and I enjoy acting but not so much. I don´t play any particular sport but I´m good at athletics. Although I don´t have enough time to do so, I would love to go jogging at least two times per week. I don´t have any problems with food, I consider that trying new dishes is part of a good experience. Also, I love most kind of animals except for reptiles and some insects. As a matter of fact, I used to ride horses when I was young.
At present, I practice my fluency in english by having conversations with my brother Bautista about our daily life. The things that I´m expecting from this trip are: to learn more about the history and culture of the places we are going to visit, to have fun and make new friends, and to improve my english. I play the drums since 3 years and the guitar since 2. I’m very keen on music and also very open to new types of it but I specially hear Classic Rock and Blues. My favourite bands are AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Guns and Roses, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Metallica.
I also like sports and I’m a supporter of my favourite club: Velez Sarsfield and I regularly go to the stadium to see the team play.
I’m not too bad at school but I really dislike it except for my friends.
I’m really looking forward to this trip because I think it’s a great chance to know the language and the culture of the people living in the UK.
Hi! My name is Mauricio but just call me Mauri. I´m 14 years old. I was born on the 19th January, so when I do this trip I´ll be 15. I´m in Senior III and I study at "Colegio Generación" which is in Temperley, where I live with my parents and my little brother.
I play rugby at Lomas Athletic Club and I love it, so my main aim to this trip apart from knowing people, improving my English and discover new cultures ( they are also important), is to visit a Stadium, play a match, watch a match, interview players, etc.... something related to RUGBY. Also, in my free time I play soccer matches with my friends, just for fun and we laughing.

Hey there folks! I´m marina and I live in caballito area, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was born in October, the 31 st, Halloween and I´m 16 years old =) so, I love sports and music; Sports are my life, I do lots of them but my favorites are athletics and artistic skating. About music… well, I am very open to the whole music but I prefer listen rock music and my idol is Paul David Hewson, from the well-known band U-2 (My favorite and my sickness…ha-ha it´s my predilect but I’m not sick with them, it was a joke..) . I have 5 wonderful grandchildren, three boys and two girls (ages from 3-7). We are a very nice family and love to be together. I work at St. Maximillian Kolbe School. I'm head of the Secondary Department. I''m in charge of all the International Exams and work as an Oral Examiner for Cambridge University. I've taught English since I was 20 years old. I love teaching and everything related to education. I'm very sociable and friendly. I like watching TV, movies, going to the cinema, theatre and reading books.
My grandparents came from Ireland so I was brought up in an Irish environment. I love Ireland and visited it in 2006. I couldn't believe my eyes! It's really beautiful.
